I go visit a friend, they serve me tuna sandwiches and I like them. Next time I’m at the store I buy cans of tuna. Today, I organize my cabinets and throw out years old expired cans of tuna. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m civilized in so many areas of my life, but have given up all hope of eliminating UFC from my life. I remember renting UFC 1 when I was a kid and have watched every one since. Today is UFC 300 and I can’t wait until tonight! The card is HUGE.

Gave Apple iOS apps a real try for the last few weeks. The only ones that stuck were Reminders and Files. Vivaldi, Spark, Fantastical, and Overcast are so much better. I’ve got to write more about this when I find the time.

Moving boxes. Moving boxes. Moving boxes. Man, changing houses is a giant beating and costs more than it should. Starting with the boxes themselves! Don’t even ask about storage units. I gotta get into that business.

I’ve never been taken out by dual ear infections and eye infections before. Couldn’t be at a worse time. We’re under contract on a house, closing at the end of May, and haven’t listed our current home yet! I’m on day three of being totally out of it.

Packing boxes in preparation for moving. Making bold decisions on what we won’t use the next six weeks. Thank God for frozen lasagna and my family’s love for them.

Just over 20 years ago I packed my son into the car and brought him into our home. Today, I pack him into a U-Haul and send him out to his own home. Yes, it’s time, but not seeing him daily is something I’ll mourn for a bit.

I love waking up early. No shade on people who sleep in, but there’s something great about knocking out a workout, run, grocery list, and having a nice breakfast with the family after. The rest of the day feels like a bonus.

I’m so glad the #Rangers got García back for this season. Opening Day home runs are great. Opening Day home runs against the Cubs are the best.

The downside of living the "Thursday is my Friday" life? When Sunday becomes your Monday, UFC fights extend past midnight, and then DST swipes an hour. I’ll have to take on the day with a mere four hours of sleep.

About to hit the running trails. It’s 50° and there’s a mist that’s settled around the lake. I’ll enjoy having the morning to myself.

I don’t know why, but earning little digital badges in Garmin Connect compels me to workout. I’ll spend a few hours this weekend collecting a few running on the trails and on a bike.

Thursday is my Friday and I’m so ready for my weekend! I still work five days, but having Friday off feels like playing in the bonus.

Popped on XM 90s on 9 for my commute. Biz Markie’s Just a Friend played and the hook is stuck in my head. You know what, I’m here for it.

I love Survivor and don’t mind watching it live with commercials on my new fancy Hulu Live subscription. As I wait, Entertainment Tonight is on. It’s the first time I’ve seen it in YEARS. I’m shocked, it’s been TikTok style clips meets QVC. Makes my brain hurt.

Today is the first day in 23 days that I’ve felt 100%. This upper respiratory garbage is forcing downtime on most of my circle of friends.

I went into my favorite little coffee shop today, and they told me I have 50 stars. I had no idea, but I got a free Americano. I was grinning until I did the math and realized that 50*$3.50 ain't a tiny amount spent. $175 got me a free cup of joe. 🤣

I can’t believe something financial worked in my favor for the first time in a long time. I switched home insurance providers and overpaid into my escrow account. My monthly mortgage (in small town Oklahoma) went down over $500, taking it to UNDER $1000 a month!

It was a great day at work. I knocked out a few miles of running. But I got sidetracked over and over tweaking my omg.lol page. Major distraction or personally productive? It was fun, though. Scrolling through my feed, I'm not alone.

Doing a training with a local non-profit over having effective meetings. I always enjoy working with teams to improve their processes. Hoping that the biggest takeaway is to simply come prepared with something thoughtful to say.

Heading out to my running team’s kickoff party. This signals that spring has sprung. Runners, here’s to an amazing year of PRs and no injuries! Time to consume food and beer to celebrate.
